AURORA BRAUNVIEH STUD first began in 2005 with the intention of breeding and producing top quality Braunvieh in Namibia and we are situated in the Omaheke Region close to Summerdown on the C29.

We strive to produce genetic and diversity necessary for success in any long-term cattle breeding and production program.

We wanted the best of both worlds………… milk & meat. Braunvieh is a dual purpose breed and carried good muscle, thickness and excellent udders. They are great mothers and wean off calves between 230 and 300 kg. Braunvieh are very functional and adaptable cattle in any region.
